Sa Chen
She has emerged as one of the most charismatic pianists of her generation. She was awarded 4th prize at the International Chopin Competition in 2000 and the Crystal Prize at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2005, giving her an international audience. She has performed with prestigious orchestras, such as the London Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France etc., and renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Myung-Whun Chung...and in 2009, the magazine "L'Officiel" named her one of the 10 best Chinese artists. And the Tokyo Series named her one of the "100 Greatest Pianists". In 2010, the Polish government awarded her the "Chopin Passport to Art".
