After last year's success, discover the second edition of the Rencontres musicales du Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.
Built in the 13th century, the Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil has cast its spell over Berry and Bourbonnais for over seven centuries. In the summer of 2022, the descendants of the Seigneurs de Bigny have teamed up with conductor David Molard Soriano to launch a new festival of excellence and encounters.
They invite musicians from all over France to form an orchestra in residence at the château for a week. Thanks to this pool of talent, the three-day festival promises to be a grand celebration of the arts and heritage, bringing together international excellence and the pleasures of sharing and discovery.
Carte blanche for a soloist, musical surprises in the gardens, family discoveries of the orchestra and its secrets, music and theater mixed with flora and fauna, intimate chamber music... and finally, a festive symphonic concert: the jewels of the classical repertoire resonate in harmony with stones and living beings.
After four days of encounters, a cocktail party will bring artists and spectators together in the château courtyard to close the festival together.
TheRencontres musicales du Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil pay tribute to the beauty of the site and the spirit of generosity that animates it.
