From the recent archives of Ainay-le-Vieil, this view of the fortress covered with a thick layer of freshly fallen snow. Such a sight is rare in Ainay-le-Vieil. Indeed, while the heavy white coat seems to be settled for the winter, a ray of sunlight colours the whole with a golden light. The walls of the fortress then absorb the sun's heat, making the white coat of snow an ephemeral garment.
