From 10 a.m. you can get to know Leonardo da Vinci better.

To celebrate the 500th anniversary of his death, the association "Le Sabot et la plume" is following the journey made by this great man, from Vinci in Italy to Le Clos Lucé in Amboise. The coordinator of this project, Clémence de Villecourt, is stopping off at the château with her horses and caravan after having travelled 1300 km from the town of Vinci (Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace) to Amboise (Leonardo da Vinci died near Amboise at Clos Lucé). A travelling exhibition that invites us to understand Leonardo da Vinci and his implication in our century today.

It shows that this period is also a gateway to answer the questions of our time and addresses many themes to promote critical and creative thinking among school children.

From 2pm onwards, you can follow various workshops with your family:

• Earth and Sound workshop: modelling a sculpture with plants and minerals
• Workshop "La lyre pour lire": musical awakening around the vegetable garden
• Circus workshop: discovering a multifaceted discipline
• Games and History workshop: discovery of traditional games

A photographer will be present to offer a portrait of you and your children. A photo will be sent to you by mail for 5€.
