Founded in 1107 by Robert d'Arbrissel, creator of Fontevraud Abbey, Orsan Priory houses medieval monastic-inspired gardens at the heart of its buildings, which are historic monuments in Berry.
Since 1993, the gardening team has been recreating these walled gardens, where utility and symbolism are intimately intertwined.
