On August 15th, the village of Ainay-le-Vieil was transformed into a gigantic flea market to the delight of bargain hunters.
Between the villages of La Celette, La Perche and Ainay-le-Vieil, it has become a tradition. Every 15 August, a flea market is organised.
And this, each in turn. This year, it was Ainay-le-Vieil that "hosted" this friendly event, awaited by bargain hunters from the region and other tourists.
More than 80 exhibitors were present, all set up along the main street of the village, on the church square and, for the first time, in the new car park reserved for visitors to the château, which was kindly made available to the Comité des Fêtes. Everyone found the object of their dreams under a beautiful sun and in a friendly atmosphere.
If the appointment is given to Ainay-le-Vieil in three years, on August 15, 2022, it will be the turn of La Perche to receive next year.
