A newcomer to the long line of festivals devoted to nature, "Coeur de France" stands out from the rest by its majestic setting (the château d'Ainay le Vieil, also known as "Little Carcassonne") and by its openness tonaturalistic art in all its forms, from painting and sculpture to drawing, land art and, of course, photography.
It takes the lion's share of the programming. Not surprising, given thatAlexandre Cuomo, co-founder of the Naturimages agency, is at the helm. This Berrichon by adoption has put together an extremely varied line-up, where the immaculate delicacies of Stéphane Hette, the wild ochres of Cédric Jacquet (both guests of honor) and the Kenyan snapshots of Tony Crocetta, patron of this first edition, cohabit seamlessly. The icing on the château is that all the artists (some 100 in all) are present throughout the four-day festival!
