Ainay celebrates the family

The Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil celebrates the family with a special program for all to discover together: treasure hunt (led by Kid évènementiel), circus and old-time games workshops (by theTout azimut association), magical theatrical storytelling (by Cie Pace), donkey rides around the castle (see below).
Parents, children and grandparents are invited to spend a fun-filled, festive family day.
PROGRAM
- 12 & 3 pm: dramatized tour of the château*.
- For those who'd like to eat first, Chef Maria Rodriguez 's menu will include kid-friendly dishes, and in the afternoon, there'll be plenty of goodies for snacking.
- 2 p.m.: Various workshops begin.
- 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 pm: performances by the Pace Sisters.

QUICK INTRODUCTION TO A NEW SPEAKER
The association Aimanimale et Cie Aimanimale et Cie : is a refuge farm that takes in farm animals and equines and offers educational activities promoting the human-animal bond, animal well-being and nature protection.
Emma Chassagne is a trained socio-cultural animator and animal behaviorist.
Their aim is to offer a fun, educational and respectful experience for all.We propose 3 activities that can be adapted to the duration of the activity and to the different ages of the children present during the day.
- The first activity will focus on observing and understanding the donkey's needs: what does it eat, what are the names of its mommy, daddy and baby, what is its cry, why does it have long ears, where does it come from, etc.? This activity will take place throughout the afternoon, and will be partly self-service with small posters. It will be particularly useful during the breaks required by the donkey (on average 15 min/h), when you can observe him resting and eating in the park.
- The second activity involves grooming, i.e. brushing the donkey, stroking it, bonding with it, cuddling it and giving it a treat. We then invite the children to connect with their feelings and discover our donkey's favorite places to scratch, for a moment of shared pleasure.
- The third activity, for children aged 5 and over, is a "course" on the donkey's tether ... children learn to lead the donkey and ask it to move forward, stop and turn, without forgetting to reward it with a treat at the end!
This day helps support local cultural players, since they all live in the Centre Val de Loire region.
* NEW: special children's tours at 12 and 3 pm. Chese tours can also be organized on request and subject to availability.
