Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil will be open from Saturday April 1 to Sunday October 1, 2023.
An exhibition by internationally-renowned visual artist Juan Garaizabal, his sculptures will be presented in the gardens of Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.
In 1914, Ainay-le-Vieil had a population of around 510. It's a lively village of farmers who have been working the land on their farms or tenant farms, usually for several generations. There are also a large number of craftsmen practicing mostly forgotten skills, and a "floating" population of [...].

Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil celebrates the family, with a special program for all to explore together: treasure hunt, circus and ancient games workshops, magical theatrical storytelling, donkey rides around the castle, etc.

The Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil is home to some thirty antique dealers whose stalls occupy the Salle des Archers, the Salle des Équipages, the Sellerie and the château courtyard. For a weekend, "Le Carcassonne du Berry" opens its doors to bargain hunters and curiosity seekers.
