L’Écho du Berry annonce la 19e édition du Salon des curiosités au château d’Ainay-le-Vieil, les 4 et 5 juillet 2026 de 10h à 19h. Le salon réunit antiquités, brocante et curiosités, avec une entrée à 2€.
The château , a medieval fortress in the Cher department that has been owned by the same family since the 15th century, is among the ten properties selected by Capital magazine Capital its list of top hotels for summer 2026. Visitors can stay in guest rooms or a self-catering cottage and enjoy the cuisine of Chef Maria Rodriguez La Volière.
The gift shop at château is featured in an article in Demeure Historique to gift shops at historic monuments. The magazine highlights, in particular, its antique corner, which is popular with visitors looking to unearth a vintage item.

On June 6 and 7, 2026, the château opened its remarkable gardens to the public as part of the Rendez-vous au jardin event. Owner Hervé Borne head gardener Florent Emmanuel a site where the focus this year is on the views, with guided tours led by the owners.
