An exhibition by internationally-renowned visual artist Juan Garaizabal, his sculptures will be presented in the gardens of Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.
In 1914, Ainay-le-Vieil had a population of around 510. It's a lively village of farmers who have been working the land on their farms or tenant farms, usually for several generations. There are also a large number of craftsmen practicing mostly forgotten skills, and a "floating" population of [...].
This exhibition shows the Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil before 1914 and the upheaval of the First World War.
PLUME.S" is an allegory that aims to make the link between birds and art. Sensitive to the dangers that threaten nature, Olivier Lasbley, a photographer from Olive, has chosen to highlight living species.
Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil celebrates the family, with a special program for all to explore together: treasure hunt, circus and ancient games workshops, magical theatrical storytelling, donkey rides around the castle, etc.
This year's theme is "Music in the Garden", evoking the many sounds heard in gardens: birdsong, the sounds of other animals (frogs, insects, etc.), the sounds of water, wind, plants, sound installations, music composed for a garden, etc. Saturday at 4pm: Guided tour of the gardens.
