Restoration programme of the castle surroundings

The work is progressing, the roofs are being restored to their former glory...

The entire roof of the former 17th century castle farmhouse will be completed by the end of December 2019.

A large-scale project that saves the exceptional outbuildings consisting of a manor house, barns, stables, a granary and a building crossed by the mill's millstream canal.

More than 2,000 m2 of roofs and frames were restored by local companies: Dagois for the roofing with brumaire restoration tiles made by the Grossouvre tile factory, MDB Bourges for the frames, Trotignon for the masonry...

A new structure which has allowed this year the improvement of the reception with a new car park with a capacity of about 100 vehicles and a brand new shop of 100 m2. And which will allow the opening of a restaurant and a first gîte next season.
