Levon Maret vibraphone and percussion

Levon studied vibraphone and percussion first in Geneva and then in New York. In New York, where he went on the strong recommendation of his brother Grégoire Maret, Levon performed in famous clubs alongside renowned musicians such as Candido Camero, Giovanni Hidalgo, Chico Freeman and Jimmy Scott.

Back in Switzerland, Levon plays alongside Daniel Humair and wins several prizes: the Jeunesses Musicales Suisses competition, the Marescotti and Patiño grants. Levon continues his travels and goes to Mali to immerse himself in it.

He leads several bands in various musical genres (30's jazz, afro-funk, free jazz, world music). He performs notably with his brother, the harmonica player Grégoire Maret, as well as with Marcus Miller.
