On Sunday August 22, music resounded in the gardens of the Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.

David Molard Soriano and his musician friends came to visit us for a concert. In the shade of the lime tree, Paul Gaugler on vocals, Blanche Désile on violin, Benoît Foiadelli on cello and Yann Kerninon on piano enchanted us with arias by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Puccini and Verdi, to name but a few composers. Sunshine, but not too much, a slightly teasing wind that played with the scores, the good humor of Constance Clara who introduced the pieces and the beautiful music made this afternoon a wonderful moment.

A promising start to next year's concerts. Rendezvous in August 2022 for Les Rencontres Musicales du Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.
