Frances DeBroff

As a child prodigy, Ms. DeBroff played in the Pittsburgh Junior Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Lauren Maazel. Ms. DeBroff then spent her summers studying violin at the Chautauqua Institute under the tutelage of Misha Mishakov, the concert master of conductor Arturo Toscanini. Founder and director of the Saint Barthélémy Music Festival, which presents some fifty internationally renowned artists each year, Frances DeBroff is a former President of the Pittsburgh Symphony Association, and a former member of the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet.
